Variation without the Parmesan Cheese

Some in my house like it better without any Parmesan cheese, so here is a great alternate of the above recipe.

Preheat oven to 400 degrees

1 loaf bread, like Italian or French, cut in half lengthwise.
(Or, you can do individual slices if you prefer)
1/2 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
1/4 garlic powder
1/2 cup soft margarine (or butter if you prefer)

Spread margarine on bread. Sprinkle seasonings over this.
Place on cookie sheet
Broil on hi until golden or browned to your liking

Makes 12 servings
